HAVE A FUN AND SAFE SUMMER

With the summer beginning and holidays approaching, TGE would like to wish everyone a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

This past year has been a very busy one for us. We’re continuing our work on several commercial and retail developments, both regionally and across the state. We have also been involved with several exciting projects as part of our City of Rochester contract, along with some consulting services on Monroe County Projects.

Late last year we acquired a specialized concrete/asphalt coring machine. This a more powerful unit than the electric motor unit typically used, and enables us to perform overhead coring safely and with greater efficiency. We’ve utilized this machine on one specific overhead coring project with great success.

Michele Fiorillo, PE and Kevin Tierney, PE attended a seminar in May of this year, on seismic site response analyses. The course, “Seismic Site Response Analysis with GeoMotions Suite 2000", provided an overview of the evaluation of site specific parameters and performing site response analyses for geotechnical evaluations, using SHAKE2000 and D-MOD2000 software suites. The seminar was hosted in Charleston, South Carolina, by Dr. Neven Matasovic, PhD, PE, GE, and Mr. Gustavo Ordonez, PE, of Geomotions, LLC.
